Forgive me on this Mother's Day for all the sleepless nights,
For all the times I left you and dad with some awful frights.
It was never my intention, I'd never want to make you mad,
Please, you must believe me, don't cry and don't be sad.
You have always been a pillar the one that had to be strong,
Dad I know you did your best so please don't get me wrong.
Mom you taught me so much more about how to be myself,
So many things that I would otherwise have left upon a shelf.
I love you mom for all you've done you showed me the way,
To be the woman that I can be in every thing I do and say.
Your gentle hand has guided us along our rocky roads,
Your strength has always been with us eased our loads.
