simmering scalding seething
fresh blistering scars
skin afire at the touch
of eager heated hands
escape impossible
immobile and cold
ice coursing through
a body shivering shaking
dizzying confused terror
reptile eyes look down
upon my porcelain skin
a gaze of inhuman indifference
and drain my soul of hope
I shatter
and lay
forgotten
