Click hereThis poem is a take off on the Conway Twitty classic,
Linda on my mind.
Glinda on my mind
I’m lying here with Glinda on my mind
And next to me is Dorothy
The one I’ll leave behind
But Dorothy is just not one to cry
I think it is my ass, she wants to fry
I really still love Dorothy
But it isn’t up to me
Glinda taps me with her wand
Between my eyes
And my free will far away flies
Glinda told me very clear
That I’m not the one she wants
But Dorothy killed her sister witch
And she’s getting even
What a bitch
Glinda really wants the dancing man,
And though my head is straw
I look like Ray
Good witch, ha, she’s just a bitch
But she’s sure she’ll get her way
So for Glinda, I will do
And Dorothy doesn’t need to have this fight
I’ll get her to click her heels and go
It’s August and the corn could use a hoe
Kansas is safe that I know
Okay, there’s sometimes a tornado
But Dorothy has already handled the blow
And terrible, my fate is not
After all, Glinda’s really hot
