Squeeze out my breath and steal it
Stop my blood
My light
And in them bathe
In Infinity’s womb
To be
Reborn
Renewed
My gift to you
Claim your power and weld it to my own.
Rend my seams
Restitch them in a pattern of our choosing
That I may be beautifully scarred
At your hand
And my seams run through yours
Shot with silver and gold
And all things precious.
Pull me apart with your rough strong hands
And I will gift you my
Surrender
Compliance
Obedience
Power
Glory
You
Make
Me
Indomitable
And I make you.

I think you've missed the point...

... which is made clear (or so I thought) in the final two lines, "You make me indomitable / And I make you.", which speaks to the true source of power in a D/s or power exchange relationship: the sub. The sub sets out what they will and will not submit to, the sub can stop play/a scene anytime they choose by using the safe word, and, in my own case at least, the Dom was grateful to be elevated and feel honoured (as he honoured and elevated me), in a world that otherwise often strips men of their inherent masculinity, rendering that very characteristic 'toxic'.

The collection as a whole is really about balance, as was the relationship I wrote it about. There was no supplication at all, except in the times and ways that *I* chose.

oh my God, well wrought but why

more of this dominance poetry. Why is there such a need to supplicate? Oh well to each his/her own. To me it is a little sad that some of us can not find relationships of equality and parity. But dear ones, if that if your horse ride on...
