yet I am starting to forget
I can see your smiling face
but I can't feel you
I can't feel your breath
on my cheek
as you lean in
to kiss me
your hand in mine
as you pull me close
I can't feel our bodies touching
as we lay together
and I can't feel
our souls connect
like they once did
the memories linger
just tiny slivers
of what used to be
it's hard to remember
not feeling...anything
