I'm sure this resonates with anyone who's had a relationship gone sour. He, weak and shallow, controlling his woman through fear and intimidation; she, weak and shallow, controlling her man who's trying to escape through mental and emotional intimidation.

And the victims are the ideals, just made for each other. Will it ever be? We can all only hope for them.
