*I wasn't sure whether I wanted to post this or not but, here it is anyway.

How do you know?
How do you know if the one that wants to master you is the one to do it?
Really?
How do you know?
How do you know it's right?
Right for you
Right for them
How do you know it's real?
What if you're scared, unsure?
What if you want to trust but, it's hard?
They should be understanding, right?
Give you time
That's how it works, isn't it?
No one can force you to do it
You have to be willing
No one should try to push or rush you into it
Again, you have to be willing
How do you know that the person wanting to be your master is the right person?
How do you know?
How do you know when enough is no longer enough but, too much?
Where do you draw the line?
How do you say, "You want more than I can give"?
How do you make them understand?
How do you give yourself when you're not sure how much of yourself you can truly give?
How do you know?

In the end, I didn't trust the person I wrote this poem about. I didn't really even know him to begin with, he started

messaging me when my ex left. First, to check on me and my kids, which I thought was nice. Later is when he started with the other stuff. The fact that I didn't know him made my choice easy.

Thank you for all of your comments. I wasn't sure of a lot of things when I wrote this but it was about a specific person and a situation he wanted me to help him create and I was in no way ready for that.

I like the poem, and the courage (and honesty) it took to publish it.

Perhaps another way is not to be mastered, but an equal partner in a relationship. I have always found that to be more open and trusting from both people involved.

No judgement; just how I feel.

This is exactly how I feel. Yet I plunge into things, because I so easily consent, and because it turns me on so powerfully. I love seeing your honesty in the games of love and sex. I relate fully!

Let me know

Let me know if you figure it out. Too difficult to figure out someone else's heart when you can't understand you own x

Why do people not understand that there are so many reasons why we write, why we try and put stuff down on ‘paper.’

If it helps, great! But negative or aggressive comments help no one, and to hide behind anonymity is well.......draw your own conclusions.
