In praise of daily public love

I think I love this poem most. The volunrability which comes forth in the confession that YES hapiness even if it's called contentment even if it's passing is possible and real. And it happened not in the regular chambers of love but in the open air. I was most touched by the rhetorical clause:...after all, as if she is trying to convince;herself or the readers that this kind of public contentment is so much more real more valid than similar passing feelings in hiding (in the bed room perhaps).

It is clear that you praise love which sustains the daily and the mundain. I am so agreeing with you. I wish you changed the last words of the last sentence which are simply too obvious. ("it was here, in the every day")

you could have put instead 'on the light of day' or in the parking lot' or in other way which would have coveyed the same. Very touching (and uplifting) poem
