In the heat of the moment
I don't hear you
speak my name
or do the words
I love you
ever leave your lips
but that's okay
I don't expect either
what I hear
are sounds of pleasure
whispered profanities
sighs and moans
labored breaths
all of these
are music to my ears
I know you don't love me
just love what I do
still, I spoke your name
