Brushed with grainy ink and feather
Carved on parchment or on leather
Pixelated to a server
In a cloud
Or said out loud
And every symbol
Every word
Flies from the soul
Often unheard
Ancestral blood and wisdom calls
The hands to muddy bare stone walls

Interesting juxtapositions of time elements - ancient to modern day. Storage arrays from clouds to cavern walls. It never ceases to amaze me how fewer words can carry so much more expressive thought than all the descriptive passages of an epic tome.
