Click herePictures so brilliant and beautiful reminders of good times
Reminders that show a history to the next generations
The problem with Pictures is they document the best of times
The times that can never be relived, never replaced
In day of old picture burning was a way of letting some one go
Of letting go of something good or bad by fire
Today Pictures are digital every where taken at all times
Selfies have become a fad that has grown to the point of creating it's own market
From printing them to cameras and phones with cameras
to the video that is everywhere at all times
Pictures and facial recognition combined with face book and blogs
Faces recorded forever for personal use as well as big brother.
The real problem is the pictures never go away ever.
You breakup with the love of your life and their fave is always there
Popping up in old messages, on screen savers, on the old computer drives.
Pictures of times that were had and will never be had again
Pictures of a young child who has died that you'll never see again
People that you've just gotten used to them being gone.
Pictures that just when you think they're all gone, some one sends it again
They come from places you never thought to delete from.
Facebook sending you memories reminders with a smile, that tear your heart apart
And then the new ones, pictures from someone who was out of your life
The picture of a child that isn't yours but you wish it was
Reminders that life is still going on in a realm your not welcome in.
The picture of a parent that you wish could have seen what you've become
The memories that no one saw the pain behind the expression
The pictures that you were forced into a smile that was never real
The view of a time when happy wasn't real
