I scratch the kitty while in thought ensconced
and approval she expresses in Purr
dabbing our world with a perfect shimmer
to the extent the ignorant if known
would swear our love must be most illicit
and honestly who can with scientific
certitude say the thoughts of a kitty
exist in the sphere of morality
assumed absolute as humans believe,
meaning I think she has a crush on me.
