Ineptitude and hubris in the same soul ~ so revealing.

passive.

Apathy, neglect, complacency, ineptitude all present factors as the world reels further and further out of control. Today's equivalent ~ a man playing an Air Guitar. A timely poem.

All that bugs a poet

Intriguing observations both of himself and of the world. Thin layer of cynicism could not hide the care and most likely frustration of inability to change much in the burning world.

I liked very much each of the stanzas, but as a whole it reads more like a collection of four independent stanzas than one integrated poem. When I read it as four independent units I enjoyed it though. I am curious though to hear other’s take on this angle.

Very well thought out ~!!!

I can just see all this unfolding before my eyes.

Like a flower, layer by layer we pick the petals

only to see what's inside has escaped and left us

unsure and so confused.

Just me ~ Love this one Fool ~!!!
