She etched her lips upon my cup,
the evidence was there.
The red of petals from a Rose,
a veined imprint shared.

The subtle curving of her lips
traced out for me to see.
The crime committed bold as brass -
A repeat violation of me.

Again and again she commits this crime.
I am victim to this fate.
To have my coffee cup suborned
Makes my teeth begin to grate.

She steals my coffee when ere she can,
But she is my world, my moon, and my sun.
So I will learn to share my cup….
With the girl who’s my
