Tiny hands holding tight to my fingers
Grasping on with desperate need for affection
The smell of sweet, sweet cuddles lingers
Hold you with the arms of a momma’s protection

I find wide eyes looking up at me
Hungry with curiosity for the world
I want to show you everything I see
Guide you when you find yourself unfurled

I want to know your every breath
I want to know your every heartbeat
I want to know your every step
How long until we get to meet?

Finish inside me once more, I plead
Again, and again, and again
Another month goes by and I bleed
Longing, searching for the end
