All Comments on 'mercy'

You have some powerful content and some really good phrases. Though, not everything in the poem appeals to me. I'm squeamish about some disturbing images. By the way, that first line is great. I want to use that line, or a variant of it, in a poem. I'm hinting to borrow it. ;)
