Click hereFrom time to time, I need to dance,
Alas, I can't for here, in France,
I am no longer fit or free,
Because I drove into a tree,
A year has gone and still I struggle,
At least I keep right out of trouble
(Bites lip sadly)
I love to show my joy at life at times,
Although it comes from a quiet veil of tears.
Where I dwell in-between these many rhymes,
Adjusting to the agony of fears,
That have been realised. constraining choice:
But which I smile through. once I find voice...
I knew you had an accident but didn’t how long your recovery was/is….
Prayers and thoughts your way.
I hope you feel better soon. I love the poem. It’s cathartic to write about these things. 😊
I had no idea this is what you were hiding, or rather not talking about. These few words explain much to me. I think this has conveyed more to me about you than the sum of all your other poems. This is true poetry. 5 stars from me.
Whoa! I hope you didn't drive into a tree! That wouldn't make me feel like writing poetry at all.
I definitely sense the struggle in this one...
Very philosophical, I love poems that make me think, like this one.
Really well written.
