Click hereIt seems I have lived on the wrong side of desire all my life.
Unsatisfied temptations
Endless nights of restless anticipation
Disappointment and rejection
Yet somehow I retained the fire inside
An ember glowing hot
Next to my heart (and other parts)
That burns ceaselessly red incandescent
I dreamt one night I was on a solo journey’s travail borne
Through a wasteland of deserts
Stripped of all I seek
No subsistence to feed my hungry ache
I walk until in the distance I see an oasis
An earthly paradise of pleasure
Where the air is sweet with the scent of a thousand flowers
And the sound of a bubbling spring sings with the voices of the sirens
There I slumber and the wind caresses me like fingers dancing across my skin
And the night dew falls upon my lips, like a kiss
Then, as I open my eyes I find my dream transformed and real
The kiss attached to a beautiful face with eyes like diamonds
I am transported as if on a cloud into blissful ecstasy
As our bodies intertwine, flesh touching flesh, heat touching heat
In a rhythm searching for each other’s pleasure, friction motion
Soft moans, hot breath in my ear, a panting pleading
Into the heavens we float billowing clouds building up in turbulence
Higher higher as in a storm, a thunderstorm of energy
To be discharged in bolts of lightening shuddering through the body
Again, again, storm tossed jolts, electric shock
Then, all is calm, nestling, cuddling, in a state of bliss
The stars above blink and spin in the ink black sky
I don’t want the night to end, my dream to fade, disappear
And my journey to continue once again
But, with the dawn I am once again alone, the palm trees gone
Surrounded in all directions by burning sand under a relentless sun, my reality
Was it just a dream, a fantasy of my creation
Or did someone dream me too, in the night, a mutual creation
I hope so
