Nature's way of propagation
Favors early copulation
That's fine for species preservation
But there's a cruel differentiation
The two sex drives are uneven
As they abate for each generation
Women of ninety can climax often
Few men that age can have an erection
Disparities in life's joys thus heighten

Author's Note: I did not classify this poem as erotic, because it focuses on the course of life. Mark Twain wrote similar sentiments on life's cruelties. To paraphrase , Nature gives a young man a repeating rifle, when he does not know how to use it, and an old man a popgun when he does.
