I drift,
A ship without its sail,
Grasping at the ocean
Whose waters slip
through my fingertips.

I float,
Unshielded from unforgiving suns,
Listless in the memory
Of your quietude,
Directionless.

I wait,
For you, my compass,
Drape me with your breadth,
And let us get lost
In waves of emerald.

Stroke me with your song,
Orchestrations
So sweet,
I cannot help but
Relent.

Touch me with your silk,
Flutter above my breast,
Lead me with your mast,
And let us drift,
Boundless.

Seize me with your wind,
Take me away,
Away, away,
Into dreamless
Surrender.

Without you,
The ocean is empty,
Come home.

Love this…powerful imagery….strong sensory signals….romantic and emotional.

This is beautiful and so very sad at the same time. It is so very romantic and really pulls up my heart. You have a wonderful way with words and imagery. Keep it up you're a beautiful writer.
