They're blinded by negativity.
So, the light of day they cannot see.
The world and their days are without hope.
They don't celebrate. They only mope.
Happiness is never meant to last
When you see the light as shadows cast.
Happiness is never meant to be
When you embrace negativity.
They see everything as upside-down.
If you smile at them they see a frown.
Rage, grief are the order of the day,
Of the day the doubters will naysay.
Flowers don't rise from the falling rain.
They're soaked to the bone, living in pain.
They see only gray all night and day.
Living in hopelessness is their way.
