His hand never strayed where I now feel it brush
Nor gripped on my hips though I long for his touch
His lips never pressed where I wish he would linger
I can’t hear surprise when I wet-dip my finger
No cress in his teeth nor snoring at night
But no words of calm if I wake with a fright
So here in my head, imperfect but mine
His words are enough. Well, most of the time!

Hot, and also relatable. I love how cryptic you were yet also so very crystal clear.

I can really feel the frustration over the human struggle while being highly innovative and creating new ways to pass on thoughts not being able to copy nature's best practice of transporting the feeling of closeness, a body's heat warming your heart even from inches away, the most electric sensation of a finger's touch when delivered by the lowest transfer rate imaginable.

Thanks for sharing
