It has some really powerful phrasings and I really like the thoughtful musing quality. It also has some cliche that I think weighs it down, and that I'd edit out. But that's easily done and will make a good poem even better. :)
I thought this poem started out promising what it can't deliver. Lines like "those self-surrendering looks" and "Sweet; The song of love, Rapturous ....." disintigrated into melodramatic lines that grated a little.
All in all it's a good effort and a sad-sweet love song.
One solitary tear drop, inside corner, left eye. And they don't come easy.
The very fact the other resides in the memory . . .
