great scene

I could totally see this scene, and felt right inside, down to the spinning rainbow of undergarments.

This was just beautiful, original, and unto itself a poem, but as a poem in a poem, it worked too.

"Because I loved you,

I did what I must,

had my life become a vacuum

bag of dust

and dog hair."

I think Neruda was there, not in the style or sentiment but in longing and notion. As icon only.

You got me.

I liked the idea of your poem

but there's really no neruda here, all bukowski. The spanish is a mess, but that's ok too, still isn't very nerudish-ish though. overall good stuff. Some neruda translation aren't that great, but a lot of neruda works are a mess ala "Rapa Nui".
