What drawer did you pull this 39 year old relic out of. And why? Maybe a little background would help.

My metaphors, like "music puppet" (i.e. dancer) and "PlayFool bar" transcendent time. On the other hand, there are -- and this is extra for those who know -- specific connections. E.g. there was/is the famous Stravinsky's ballet "Petrushka" that features puppets. Modern ballet super-stars would perform, and the greatest ever Wacław Niżyński established that ballet once and forever.

Also, an everyday interpretation of "Playfool bar" may stand for a bar where the so-called exotic dancers perform, say, it may be a Go-Go bar. The "beer" metaphor fits here perfectly.

*******************

I said "metaphor" but to be technical, my "music's puppet" is a diagonal(!) kenning. Also "beer" and "beer bottles" is a metaphor for the bloodstream (or even milk), thus it is a metaphor for love, and these bottles associate with woman breasts,

*******************

Thus, my poem is time transcendental while real. Whether it was written yesterday or 800 years ago, it wouldn't matter.

The images of the poem are faithfully from life, faithful to the bar scene. E.g. the customer is sitting and the dancer hovers over the customer from the stage or dancing over the customer in a so-called "private dance".
