eyes set upon a uncertain horizon
always moving forward instep and limping
questions raised in a senseless world
life lived as if you're dreaming
incalculable obstacles line an invisible road
existence but a mine field for the blind
its only certainty, a state of constant confusion
in this lies the apiphany, a diamond in ashes
no sense to be made from senslessness
no profound truth buried in the endless lies
just you
and me
and everything else
wandering the abyss
found lost and found wanting
you are the professor of your lesson
you are the navigator, setting your course
you are the truth, hidden subtly within lies
you are the destination at the end of the road
a prophet born into your temple
and still knowing this we're left searching
a truth often found too late.

Reminded me of staring into a mirror. Inside and outside joined in a moment, the most private 'me' complemented by how we appear to the world - which might not truely reflect the core of a person within the shell.

Heck, I do like your words. Good rhythms and ideas in here

It's a strangely comforting twist on being alone.

Deep and insightful. Strong use of metaphors. Thank you for leaving your heart open.
