Addressing angels is somehow unique,
And goddesses are always way up high.
They live a life of leisure and mystique,
And drift on velvet clouds across the sky.

Can mortal man e’er hope to come this close,
And read of sonnets written by her hand?
The words she’s chosen, small and grandiose,
So clearly said, e’en I can understand.

But is it far too much for me to dream
Of sharing words with her that dance and rhyme?
And could this goddess held in high esteem
Consent to join me here just this one time?

Be still my heart, the goddess comes this way,
Enthralled by her, I seek the words to say.
