enjoyed your POV, can I borrow that boom box when youre done? all the good spirits have vacated mine ...congrats on the E
This was fun. Hey, you got an E! :) And you're also mentioned on the new poems review thread on the literotica poetry board.
I enjoyed this foray into a new form. Well done, and an "E" to boot!
I was puzzled by the grammar a little: you seem to set up a scale in each stanza with the dollar value as a fulcrum, but you are not consistent. Is this intentional?
hmmmm still pondering humanist enlightenment... I want a poem on that :)
congrats!
I'm really enjoying the different approaches you're taking. Keep surprising me...I love unusual and inventive, and that you are.
This is your best catalog yet - I marveled on it.
I am reminded of the extensive use of catalogs in classics such as “Moby-Dick” and less known as “Gargantua and Pantagruel” (the latter hilarious). But the closest association was the credit card commercial (still running) which lists merchandise or services plus a priceless exception - great idea.
This poem was mentioned in the Archival Review thread, in a picking through Lit's archive of over 37,000 poems.
