Darling smells like blood and rain

I pull teeth in infinite amounts

Woven together to make armour for them

For darling is soft and needs sharper edges

To ward off the evils of the uninvited

I do not understand law, money or morality

Only that what darling wants

Darling gets

Even if it means it comes stained red

If our love is pricked by a rose

I burn it and kiss darling better
