...if you read it as the tulips lying on the table, having been bought to tell the wrong story -- as a smoke screen, in other words -- and therefore the representation of a lie), you'll get what Demure is saying.

seriously, back it off a little, question it, what is it doing?

I looked at the others, some quite nice, but a lot of air.
