Please rip these chains from my flesh.
Let me fall into the cold, dark, still, and stiff.

My blackhole is plaguing me;
Knowing the sorrow I would inadvertently bring to my friends and family, and
I don't want them to inherit my mess.
Thus, unable to move towards my inevitable fate
and rest.

I’ve infested myself with dreams and hope.
However, reality always seems to
Swing by, and destroy the mound I called my happy little sand castle.

Screaming
Into the void to unleash my bottled turmoil;
A flask that never empties.
I watch my bargainings for solace fly away,
As I reassure my close ones that
I'm alright.

Still I remain
Restless and enchained.

An excellent insightful description of The Darkness.

Glad it has since lifted….
