I'm sitting here staring, wishing I could be, one of the lucky ones, the only one, to have a place that's meant for me.

The days seem to fly, as the tears drift on by. I'm all alone, and no one's home to help clear my wounded mind.

You were once there, but you've turned your back to the sun. We're on opposite sides, we've turned the tides, our time has faded in the air.

The stars are free to shine and set the night's sky aglow, while the moon grins and the earth spins, on the axis of my mind.

I remember the times we shared, passing the days with glee. Walking in peace and holding hands, it seemed we were always meant to be.

But you walked away from me, before I could say: You were there from the start, the only one, my love, my only, my HEART!
