(CONVERSATIONS OVERHEARD
ON THE NEW YORK SUBWAY)

Listen here man.
Yeah.
What I wanna say I wrote down here
Ok, read it to me

I never asked her to love me

Maybe I’m not so lovable, but see

Making love to her was enough

Those moments in my arms were hardly fluff

I wasn’t surprised by her behavior

I wasn't disappointed she wasn’t my savior

Didn’t know she was so sophisticated

Now she says she like me castrated

Perhaps she didn’t like me much

But she seemed to like my touch

Maybe that’s why I tried so hard

When my head was down between

Was I being mean, sucking on her clit?

and she kept screaming

“Don’t stop Baby, please don’t stop

What ever you do--don't stop!”
