Its taste is one to appetize,
Foaming from unknown sources;
In spring’s raspberry prize
Abounds those mysterious forces.

As I drift into the season,
With words reaching only a few,
Beyond the spring there’s reason
To search for someone like you.

Then out of the sun you poured
Your cupful of juices, so rife,
My hopes could now afford
Hands, that would open my life.

Your taste is one to appetize,
Foaming from unknown sources;
In spring’s raspberry prize
Abounds those mysterious forces.

Take us where we may laugh,
Until the vats are low.
The sound of our words, we’ll quaff,
As I fill you inside, you’ll know.

To your belly I lock my ear -
Where I hear the ocean’s roar;
Protected from all fear,
In each wave I thirst for more.

Her taste was one to appetize,
Foaming from unknown sources;
In spring’s raspberry prize
Abounds those mysterious forces.

Avenged, she’d stolen away
With my words, in the parched night.
My head so heavy today,
Still thirsting for her delight.
