To step in to the abysmal deep
To close your eyes in final sleep
Let go your grip on fragile wake
And be lost forever to endless sake

Or stand on its perilsome brink
Face the dark with knowing wink
Then to turn aside not to linger
Showing the dark a middle finger

How you went from despair and sadness to hope in 2 paragraphs is great. Your poetry touches the soul, thank you . Jc
