this is my favorite:
'I'll steal you from this doleful world,
Beset by duty, pain and dread,
And bear you lightly, body curled,
From this lonely, loveless bed.'
You have a considerable talent for writing retro-styled verse. This one makes me think of Coleridge, a bit. Nice use of podic form.
Until the end of the last stanza seems like a nice romantic elopement
