Twas the night before Christmas.
Lying in front of the fire,
Just the two of us.
Alone with desire,
In each others arms.
This night before Christmas.
This holy night that is ours.

And all through the house
The silence surrounds us.
A comfort as we kiss,
It holds and protects us.
Softly broken as we touch,
The silence sighs and transports us.

Not a creature was stirring,
In this moment between us.
Moment to moment our desires become us.
Engulfed as the wood in this fire around us,
Enraptured in heat the fire becomes us.

Not even a mouse,
A simple mouse,
Ever escapes what has caught us.
This net of desires that we found one Christmas,
Binds us in a silence that will last the ages.
Forever to have sweet dreams of your kisses,
To long for your touch
One night before Christmas.
