When man cries for freedom
all of the walls come down...
the shields that hide emotions
will fall as well.

As nations collide with each
other and curses are spewed
out through the tension filled
air...walls come down.

When day turns to night again
the sun fades as the moon rises
in the darkening skies above...
and tensions all die.

Sleep comes at a snails' pace
and the cold air of winter is there
to divide the wrongs from rights
and to squash them.

Finally there in the end when
the fear and hate fades away...
the peacefulness in a smile
says the walls will come down.
