As the fires rose among the towns
Yesterdays smiles became today's frowns.
The children crying as parents run
The worlds gone black, there is no more Sun.
Hope seemed lost, So why did we try?
When it seemed like the world only wanted for you to Die.
Was this the end of Gods and Men?
When Death and Chaos ruled again.
How did we survive that horrid year
What lessons were taught besides selfishness and fear?
Dear 2020 I hold no grudge
I washed my hands of you as you slowly budged
On to the future, away to 2021!
Where Covid-19 and diseases seemed to wait
Oh whoa are we, destined to repeat
Oh now what are we to do? Oh no,
I've gotten something on my shoe...
