Beautiful lines.
I swear I can taste the salt of the ocean, the salt of you, but realize it’s just tears sliding softly from my eyes to my lips.
I take a breath, roll to my side, wrap the blankets around me and lean against the pillows behind me.
Pretending you are with me I force myself back to sleep
And smiling, I begin to search for you in my next dream.
A wonderful intimate moment washed ashore Morpheus' land, underneath the public sky, audienced by the cheering waves and witnessed by the patient dunes. It's very understandable to leave the security of the bed, and try and fall back into that adventurous world.
Thanks for sharing.
