for this I have a 5. For the nerve to write it. I am familiar with that particular song, can hear it in my head. I think maybe some tweaking on the rhythm, but otherwise a good fit.
some of your work in the past makes me leery of your work, always, but after I read the new poems review, I decided to at least see what you had up today.
best wishes, NJ
No 'Mamas just throw their babies away'. Any decision a young woman, not 'a mama', must make if she is not ready to have a baby is very difficult to say the least. And this poem is more like a march for the anti abortion at all cost propaganda - no abortion regardless of rape incest health or age. Back to the cave we go.
While I agree With NJ and 1201 on the difficulty of the subject, I can't disagree with Anon on the disparaging nature of the poem towards others perspectives. We all live within the confines of our world: our values our beliefs, and deserve basic human respect.
