Words can say what IS behind one’s eyes –
If we let them…
If we dare…
If we CAN …dare…

“You Bring Soft Dreams…”

You bring soft dreams…
…you do… ya know.

“He said, she said.
He said, they did –
something sillysweet,
cute, thoughtless, timeless,
real, shared… moments
caught in wishes made…
wishes caught in a moment’s
…dream.”
Little nothings,
so many never-weres.
Ne’er-to-be’s –
and yet this once
…this once, they were
so …so… meant to be.

The kind where normal words
feel full of thought
and looks have meanings
behind the eyes.

The kind where heartbleats echo
- HARD -
and just breathing…
has a meaning all its own –
when you CAN …breathe… again.

“…Where fingers’ tips softly brush
through hair that lightly flows…
…Where eyes gaze lost
into and within,
‘til lips so softly call
and touch…”

…as the dreams begin again.

You bring soft dreams,
you do…
I KNOW.
