You knew
I was watching
When you
Kissed her.
It was a
Short kiss.
Just seconds.
Little more than
A perfunctory peck.
I couldn’t
Decide
If I was happy
For her
Sad
For her
Sad
For me or
Pissed
At you.
Then I began
To analyze
The kiss.
Compare
That kiss to
Our kisses.
No tongues
Dancing, swirling, sucking.
No teeth
Nibbling, biting, gnawing.
No mouths
Groaning, sliding, devouring.
No hands
Roaming, grasping, clawing.
And I decided
I’m ok with it.
You don’t
Kiss her
Passionately,
Bruisingly,
Fuckingly.
Not the way
You kiss
Me
And definitely
Not the way
I kiss
Her

A real roller-coaster of emotions, pride, passion, love, jealousy and commiseration, more I don't even have a name for. A secret magic what the touch of those small strips of soft skin can cause, in those partaking, and in those watching. Grand artistry to wrap it all up within a hundred words.

And yes, what a twist in the end - makes me smile for long moments
