You’ve lived, loved, and lit up the world around you

There’s plot in how you move, tempo in your breath

Lines that echo years of laughter and tears

Scars that brought forth life and love without limit

Your touch is like a voice of iron and velvet

Burdens you’ve shouldered that settled into your very bones

Your warm, soft skin is a frieze of triumphs and tragedies

I want to memorize every story your body tells

Trace them with my eyes, my hands, my lips

The magnificent depth of you draws me like no other

With rapturous swell and dip, your tale holds me fast
