Author's note: So this is the last chapter, but maybe not the final chapter. I had a great time writing all of this, and I still have stories that I could tell. I have other things to write, so it will not be anytime soon. I am going to give full time writing another try, and see what happens. Thanks to all the loyal readers. I am sorry that it has taken me so long to write this. I have been through job changes, surgery on my eye, and a string of debilitating migraines. I'm just glad that I have an ending to be proud of.

Apollo22about 2 months agoKind of nice reading a story that started where I grew up. And ironically made a trip to where I live now. Lol. Lot of familiar references. Well done, I only have one suggestion for your continued writing. Less narration, and more dialogue. Otherwise, very much enjoyed it.

FUCK THAT NOISE...I AM TIRED OF MODERN-DAY POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, and being over-concerned with 'what might affect our kid's...minegrew up hearing 'politically-incorrect' terminology, will still use it now, at times...so JUST SHUT THE F___ UP, and take your whining somewhere else!
I do not feel you have "ground an axe" against any governmental agency or whatever...you wrote a passionate love story, which is my #1 FAVORITE of all time...
