One Of the very best love stories I have read. East Texas and the descriptions of Toledo Bend your fishing trip bring back happy memories. Simply epic writing. This immediately becomes a reread often on my favorites list!
5 well deserved stars and Thanks for the memories.
A great story! It has three of my favorite things in it; fishing, roughing it and fucking... Not necessarily in that order heehee!
A very well written, feel good romance. Some minor technical issues not withstanding a great job.
Anyone who goes out on the lake knowing a blue norther is coming is crazy or stupid or both.
It's nice to have some fun with a story and I enjoyed it. Yeah, a little too good to be true, but so what? Maybe in some world, in some time (certainly not the one we live in now!) things like this can and do happen. 4*
The weather in your story was cold and very wet but this was a nice hot read. Kaye is a lovely creation. Nice work.
Good story but what place would you have been in for the tournament? :)
I loved the story but we were left wondering if they ended up winning the tournament. Five stars and a favorite point!
What a great "Happy ever After" story! Always great to find an R410a story waiting for me.
Cheers

But it was too long. 5 pages that could have been told in 3.
I like the story. I think you could have made at least another if not two stories out of the last paragraph. One for the courtship and getting to know each other out in public. And other for the wedding and life after the wedding
"weighted our fish." This sort of thing really should be caught with even half-hearted proofreading.
Very enjoyable tale and a good length. They had some fun banter and some equally fun sex, which made it a very pleasant read. Thanks for writing and sharing it.
Always a fun read from the Radical Texan. First there was Fishing, love catching them big southern bass. Then there was a wonderful love story, very nice. Great little story overall, and five stars worth every day. Thank you for it.
I liked your story. It was a fun read. I got to know your characters and was rooting for them to stay together. 5stars
great story, but ... we never found out how they did in the competition :-(.
The ending felt a big rushed but was stil a great read.
Something different, a fishing competition. Only drawback, we don't know how they got on in the competition. Otherwise well done, good storyline with a lot of erotic sex with humour
"Nice friendly woman one minute and rabid feminist the next. Talk about Jeckle and Hyde."
If you are going to refer to strong emotions or strong opinions then there must be a scene that refers to same. Nothing you wrote even remotely matches this statement.
Also, the whole tournament and the fish weight is Chekovs Gun. It's an unresolved plot as several others have pointed out.
5 stars. I really did love it, sorry it ended sooo sooon! Any chance for mor like it?
For those who couldn't remember why he was fishing --
The head of a major corporate client of mine is an avid tournament fisherman. I'm still not exactly sure where I went wrong, but I ended up being wrangled into fishing this major charity tournament as a show of friendship and goodwill.
Enjoyed. Thanks for sharing! 5* Slainté
So much stupid unnecessary writing.....they should have just got to the weigh-in without the weather drama
I like it nice little love story . But howed they do in the tournament lol 5
I thought it was a great story. I have actually been on Texoma when one of those storms blew in. It was sunny and warm and in an hours' time it was wind, clouds and freezing rain. We finally went back to the room but i was with my two brothers-in-law and I wasn't going to snuggle with either of them.
Can't please everyone all the time, but every so often I like to read a comfortable feel good story. Not all sex revolves around cocks the size of a wine bottle and the ability to fill it with cum every sex session.Sometimes "normal" is good.p.s.Doesn't hurt if there is a bit of fishing involved.
We’re very touched with the true romantic and tender love and hot moments of sensual raw sex.
Then there is the budding and building emotional connection before and after the “L” word ❤️❤️
Love you sharing your story of finding forever love.
5 stars! Great story. I like how you have several that , in a realistic way, focus on the outdoors. I do believe you are going to be added to my short list of favorite writers. But that being said, only you and @betweenthesheets are the only two who I have yet to find a story I didn't like.
Story number 2 and better than anything I've read this week. Well done!! I could feel like I was in the story and it all made sense. Thanks for the last paragraph. It solidified the end of the tale. Guess there won't be another chapter, but many more of your stories to read.
Just for reference, a widower is a male surviving spouse, and a comedienne is a female comedian.
