that's what you get when you force someone to be different from who he or she is.. some people indeed do think they can change others to their liking, but seem to fail to realise relationships are about compromise.. not about getting the "best of 2 worlds", as barbara was trying.

it's nice to see someone write this with the woman being that person, though :P it would've made the story very boring if it would've been the man, imho. anyway, kudos ;)

that sex is good... or was that anonymous sex? Huge difference in meaning.

I found Barbara a very unlikable character, I assume that was your intention.

I really think the concept of committment has to occur some time before a formal committment. But then that would be a diffferent story.
