Loved it. But as one who became a widower in my 20's, she was "my LATE wife" and NEVER an EX-anything. She remains a part of me, which my second, current wife of 35 years understands.

I read this earlier apparently, since I gave it a 5* rating. However, age has an effect upon memory and I didn't recall it. Glad I read it again. Since I'm widowed I'll add to what the Anon immediately before me said. I ALWAYS refer to her as my Late-wife. She was never my "ex" in any way shape or form. In the future please keep that in mind. Regardless, that little detail didn't affect the story in the slightest, nor my enjoyment of it. Well done.

5 Stars on a great story . It is to bad that Asshole killed a nice man . If it had been my wife he would not be found so easily . Heck they haven't found Hoffa yet .

Great story with a happy ending, except for the POS Clarke. Seems like someone got him to remember where he hid their money. Another five stars.

Still a very good story for my second reading. I've now read so many stories on LIT especially in the LW category that I usually wind up reading something I've read before. Thankfully the memory is bit short on some so it winds up being new again until I see the stars checked which is ok I guess. Detective series are always if you haven't them check The Shack series by Todd172 no sex in them but very entertaining stories especially Needles and Delaney you can but the book on Amazon or read it here on LIT
