Suddenly, she could move her mana again, all except for tiny area deep in her midsection. It took her several seconds to realize what that meant. When she did, her emotions instantly went from panic to euphoria.
*Ethan,* Alana prodded him both mentally and physically. *Ethan, wake up.*
"Hmm, what?" he said sleepily as he awoke.
"You're going to be a father," she said with a huge smile.

Anonymous3 months agoAlana swearing to obey as part of her vows is pretty ick. Like the whole magical harem and the dragon wanting power is one thing, but the wedding vows are something the human Ethan wanted, so having her swear to obey him but not the other way around just feels kinda gross. Didn't he want Alana as a life partner and equal, not some sworn servant?
Aside from that, loving the series, thank you so much for writing.
Anonymous10 months agoGood story, engaging characters, but... Its "rich as Croesus" not "rich as creases". Croesus was a rich man in greek(?) folklore.
