I liked this opening chapter. It was as you advised minimal in sexual activity, but that is fine for me. I like a story that builds the characters up and gives us a greater insight into them.

Interesting technique

Slow start, but you warned us about that. :)

The use of first person/second person was unusual, but once you get used to it works quite nicely.
